You can choose which day you want your delivery to arrive, but don't plan on cooking that day. My delivery arrived around 6 pm and by then we had already prepared something else for dinner.
I was very excited to receive my box of goodies. It's packed with ice, so you don't need to worry about receiving ingredients that aren't fresh.
The ingredients are packaged individually and then placed in a larger bag for each meal so you don't need to figure out which ingredients go with which meal.
Cuban Stewed Beef with Black Beans & Rice - The package of beef arrived damaged. There was a puncture in the bag so we used some ground turkey that we already had instead. The meal was still delicious! When I sent a message to the company about what had happened, they credited my account the full value of the two portions. Great customer service!
Chicken au Poivre with Demi-Glace & Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes - This was also delicious! Wish there were smaller pieces of garlic in the mashed potatoes and more carrots though.
Chicken Katsu Ramen with Umami Marinated Egg - The veggies tasted fresh. The egg was very flavorful. Just wish the broth wasn't so thick.
Although it took longer than their advertised 10 minutes to make a meal, I enjoyed trying the different dishes. They offer a variety of protein options, such as chicken, beef, pork, and seafood. They also have many vegetarian dishes available. You can preview the menu the week before and choose which meals you want or you can skip the delivery if nothing appeals to you. Just make sure you decide by the weekly deadline. They also offer extra add-ons, such as cookies, soups, and drinks. We received two free samples of their chocolate chip cookies in our first delivery and they were so good fresh from the oven.
